     Jamiil Hankins is an American rapper, producer and talent manager from Philadelphia. Before his role as A&R to the Philadelphia-based group BGMG (Believe in Your Goals), Hankins started as a member of the alternative hip-hop group 787, a musical act that focused on an unconventional sounding hip-hop collective. The multitalented musician and business entrepreneur began making music during his youth and released his first mix-tape in 2006.

     As a local musical talent, he has performed in some of Philadelphia's most popular venues including Theatre of Living Arts (TLA), Island Bar & Grille, and Philamoca, a performance gallery and art space in North Philly. Hankins is working to bring his art, and that of Believe in Your Goals music group, to other major cities across the country which include New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.

     Although working with a major label is the end dream for most music artists, Hankins enjoys the relative freedom being an independent artist provides. As he continues working to get the music of his artists, as well as his own, out to listeners.The entrepreneur is looking forward to the future with a personal goal of entering the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame.
